July – September: Corporate Challenge
Can you take on the challenge and turn £50 into much, much more?
The challenge is open to companies across the High Peak and the concept is simple; We will provide each company with £50 to turn into as much money as they can within the qualifying period. The Challenge will start on the 1st July and will run until 30th September. Do you think your company can take on the challenge? September – December: Light up a Life Appeal
Christmas is a thought-provoking and reflective time for many who mourn the loss of a friend or family member. Blythe House Hospice is inviting you to remember loved ones and to support this year's Light up a Life appeal. Families and friends are welcome to visit Blythe House before, during, and after the festival to reflect and write messages in the Light up a Life book at the Hospice. To dedicate to this appeal, please contact the fundraising department at Blythe House.

Friday 22nd September: New Mills Golf Day in aid of Blythe House Hospice
New Mills Golf Club are holding a charity golf day in aid of Blythe House.
1.30pm Shotgun start, followed by buffet, disco & presentation in the evening. Team entry is £120. To book, please contact the golf club on 01663 746161.

21st – 25th September: Screwball Rally
Paul Downes & Shaun Baxter are raising money for Blythe House Hospice by taking part in the 2017 Screwball Rally, travelling 2000ish miles across Europe in a car worth less than £750!

Thursday 5th October: Itsy Bitsy Charity Evening
Itsy Bitsy will be opening their shop from 6pm - 9pm in support of Blythe House Hospice! Admission is free with a complementary glass of wine & nibbles. 10% of sales on the night will be donated to Blythe House.

9th – 15th October: Hospice Care Week
Hospice Care Week is an annual awareness-raising week to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK. Once again we’re planning lots of events during this week. Keep an eye out for lots of exciting things on social media!

Saturday 14th October: Car Boot Sale
The Fickle Mermaid, in Chapel-en-le-Frith, hold a monthly car boot sale in aid of Blythe House Hospice on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9am. To book a pitch, please call 01298 812346.

Thursday 19th October: Fashion Show
Whether you're looking for fashionable day wear or something a bit more glitzy for a night on the town, you'll be sure to find what you're looking for at an amazing price at the Moving Boutique fashion show! Starting at 7.30pm, tickets are priced £5 which includes an arrival drink. For more information, please contact the fundraising team on 01298 815388.

Friday 20th October: Complementary Health Coffee Morning
Come along and sample the work that our complementary health team offer. A selection of drinks, cakes and stalls will also be available, as well as a great chance to learn more about your local hospice. At Blythe House between 10:30 and 12:30.

Saturday 28th October: Halle-een
Come along to this spooky evening at the Lee Wood Hotel in Buxton to support next year’s fabulous Halle concert. There will be a three course supper to die for, devilishly good entertainment & a wicked auction. From 7pm. Tickets are priced £30, and are available from J. Sidebotham's Jewellers and Blythe House Hospice.

Saturday 11th November: Car Boot Sale
The Fickle Mermaid, in Chapel-en-le-Frith, hold a monthly car boot sale in aid of Blythe House Hospice on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9am. To book a pitch, please call 01298 812346.

17th November: Coffee Morning
Everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy some delicious homemade cake over a nice cup of tea (coffee and soft drinks are also available!). As well as a chance to catch up with family and friends, you will be able to browse our selection of homemade items and gifts for sale.
At Blythe House between 10:30 and 12:30.

Sunday 19th November: Christmas Fair
Get ready for Christmas with Blythe House Hospice!
Come along and shop for unique gifts for friends and family, you can even order your Christmas cards from us! Let the kids have fun decorating cookies whilst you shop until you drop! With stalls including; handmade gifts, beauty products, jewellery, Christmas decorations and much more. Plus carol singing, food & drink and children's craft activities. Free entry, from 10am - 4pm.

Thursday 23rd November: Clarins Evening
Following the huge success of previous events, the Clarins team are returning to Blythe House. Grab some Christmas treats for family, friends and yourself! 7.30pm start. Tickets: £5 each, which includes a glass of wine and a goody bag. Tickets available from the hospice reception desk.

Sunday 26th November: Light up a Life Hospice Service
This years annual Light up a Life hospice service will take place at Blythe House on Sunday 26th November from 4.00pm – 5:00pm.
The Tideswell Male Voice choir will be joining us once again, along with a short service by Rev' Foday Kamara, before the beautiful twinkling lights which adorn the hospice inside and out are switched on.
Each and every light will represent a life – the life of someone special. Someone missed. By dedicating a light to a loved one we ask for a small donation to Blythe House Hospice, which will help us to continue providing vital care to those who need it.
Everyone is welcome, whether your loved one was cared for by us or not. 
Please note that this years service will be standing only. We are holding a second seated service on Sunday 17th December at Chinley Independent Chapel. 

Friday 15th December: Festive Coffee Morning
Come along and get into the Christmas spirit with us!
Enjoy some friendly conversation & delicious cakes, while you shop for Christmas gifts & treats.
Tombola, Christmas cards & gifts, and plenty of festive cakes & refreshments. At Blythe House between 10:30 and 12:30.

Sunday 17th December: Light up a Life Church Service
This year we are holding a second Light up a Life service at Chinley Independent Chapel, on Sunday 17th December from 2.30pm – 3:30pm.
The Chapel Male Voice Choir will be joining us, along with a service by Blythe House's Spiritual Care Team.
Everyone is welcome to the service, whether your loved one was cared for by us or not. 
With carols, live music and readings our Light up a Life Church Service is an opportunity to remember and celebrate those we have lost. The service is free and open to everyone, whatever their faith.
Please note that this service will be seated.
