Client / patient referrals

Healthcare professionals can refer their clients / patients to us for support at any point. This can be from diagnosis through to long after treatment is complete. For some clients this may be as they move towards end of life.

For information on referrals read the Living Well Service referral critera and to refer a client please complete the referral form and return either by post or fax. Any healthcare professionals wishing to discuss a referral are welcome to drop in or telephone as we are more than happy to discuss any questions raised.

Macmillan Information & Support Centre

Healthcare Professionals are free to access the Macmillan Information & Support Centre for any information and support resources they may require to support practice and interventions with clients / patients. All resources are free and are available in a variety of formats. We also have a healthcare professional library of books covering a wide variety of health related subjects. These are available to access for reference or loan.

Education & Training

We have a developing calendar of education and training events to support personal and professional development.

We are also able to help with bespoke training related to cancer, supportive and palliative care; survivorship; communication skills and counselling.

Health & Wellbeing

We understand how busy healthcare professionals can be in their roles and how stress can build up - resulting in sometimes unwanted or negative side effects. A weekly meditation class and weekend retreat days are held at Blythe House. They offer the opportunity to focus on health and wellbeing, giving time-out whilst learning new skills that centre on mindful compassion.
