Mindful Compassion Group & Retreats

What is Mindfulness?

There is a growing interest in mindfulness for everyday living, and many people find it helps them cope better with stress, be more comfortable with difficult emotions and feel more relaxed and open to life.

A way to describe mindfulness is learning to create

'A calm and intentionally focused mind, accepting of the present moment as it is, aware of but suspending any judgement or preference'

By doing this we allow ourselves to let go of the past and the future and truly focus on the 'here and now'. We have no need to make judgments or think about what else is going on in our lives.

What does Mindfulness Offer?

The Mindful Compassion Group and retreats offer the opportunity to:

  • learn and practice mindful meditation
  • experience a more vivid and clearer sense of the present moment
  • find inner peace and stillness
  • gain insight into ourselves
  • learn to cope better with difficulties such as stress and illness
