Information & Support Centre
Here for Everyone
The Information and Support Centre at Blythe House provides a confidential drop-in service for anyone affected by cancer or other life limiting illness. This includes people who:
- require information for themselves about illness or related issues
- are a carer, relative or friend of someone with cancer or other life threatening illness
- are a health or social care professional.
The Right Information at the Right Time
At our centre our team, of experts and trained volunteers, is on hand to answer questions and offer support. Visitors to the centre can also find booklets, leaflets and other sources of information. All our services are confidential and free. The information we provide is carefully selected and we have a wealth of local information about services and support.
When faced with illness, we know how important it is to have the right kind of information and support, at the right time. Our aim is always to help people make informed choices about their health, and learn ways to live well with - or support others living with - serious illness. Many people find that by talking through their situation with us they are able to discover new and better ways of coping.
