FAB (fatigue, anxiety and breathlessness)
Supporting local patients with life-limiting illnesses
Who is the course for?
Any patient who has a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure, cancer, or a neurological condition, and has two or more of the symptoms: fatigue, anxiety and breathlessness.
To be referred to our services, you must be a resident or registered with a North Derbyshire GP.
Who will run it?
We have expert nurses, physios and occupational therapists to show you the best ways to control and manage your symptoms.
Our aim
By the end of the seven-week course, we aim to give you a choice of self-help strategies to help you with these symptoms and improve how you feel.
When is it?
The programme runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm every Tuesday.
