How we are funded

Without the support of our community, Blythe House Hospice would not be able to continue providing vital, high-quality end of life care to patients and families across North Derbyshire.

It costs £2.6 million a year to keep services at Blythe House Hospice running. A huge 7 in every 10 patients receive care that is funded by donations, our charity shops, fundraising events and legacy gifts.

From 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025 Blythe House Hospice

provided care to 1,563 patients.

What the money you raise pays for

…will buy a bereaved child a bereavement story book and a memory box to use throughout the counselling journey and keep forever to store precious memories of their loved one.

…will fund a specialist family support session for a family learning to come to terms with a life-limiting illness diagnosis
