Talking Tours
Come along for a guided tour and chat about Blythe House Hospice
We welcome you to drop in and come along to one of our Talking Tours, which will include a walk around the hospice, a chat with our teams, and to answer any questions you may have about the hospice.
You will have the opportunity to talk to:
We do not have patient beds in the hospice, but we are a hospice that provides care in peoples homes across North Derbyshire through our Hospice at Home and Roaming Car services. Our team will educate you on how we provide tailored, individual care in people’s homes, to allow the patient to die at home if they wish to do so, and the support we provide to their families at a time when they need it most.
We will show you around the hospice, and tell you how we deliver services here to support people from the point of diagnosis with a life-limiting illness.
You are more than welcome to just come along on a day to suit you, but if there is a main reason for your visit and what you hope to get out of it, please let us know beforehand (by completing the form below) so that we can make sure you get the most from coming to see us. You will have an introduction from all the teams, but if you specifically are coming for one reason we can then allocate a little more time with a particular team.
Sarah Sewell is the Community Engagement Officer at Blythe House Hospice. You will be meeting with Sarah and she will be with you throughout your Talking Tour.
Please just turn up and come along on a date that suits you, but if you have any further questions before your visit, please email Sarah: community.engagement@blythehouse.co.uk
All Talking Tours take place from 10am to 12 noon:
