REGISTRATION FOR THE BLYTHE HOUSE HOSPICE 2027 TREECYCLE WILL OPEN 1ST NOVEMBER 2026!
Let’s make the 2027 Treecycle the biggest and best one yet!
From everyone here at Blythe House Hospice, and our wonderful patients we thank you for your continued support!
Last year an amazing 940+ trees were collected and recycled for our 2026 Christmas Treecycle, raising over an INCREDIBLE ££16,478 for Blythe House Hospice!
Huge thanks to all those who made a donation for their real tree to be collected and recycled. This fantastic total paid for 284 hours of our Hospice at Home service, providing care and compassion in the comfort of patients’ homes as they near the end of their life.
This would not of been possible without the help of our amazing team of volunteers and local businesses.
Once your tree is collected from us, we work alongside S ‘N’ S trees who then successfully chip all the Christmas trees.
Last year your donated tree chippings were donated to local farmers for a truly incredible cause. As a result, these farmers are now able to enhance their farms and agricultural practices.
Would you like to support your local hospice and be part of our 2027 Christmas Treecycle?
We’re looking for drivers with their own vans to help us collect Christmas trees in January. We need volunteers on Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th and Friday 8th January – whether you can join us for one day or all three, we’d love to have you on the team!
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time to make the Treecycle happen. From the drivers and their vans, to the tree collectors, coordinators and the amazing people who keep the team fuelled with food and hot drinks – every single person plays an important part.
And while getting up early on a chilly January morning might not sound like everyone’s idea of fun, the Treecycle really is one of our favourite events of the year! It’s a brilliant way to shake off those post-Christmas blues, meet lots of friendly faces, have a good laugh and, most importantly, know that you’re helping to raise vital funds for an incredible local cause.
So, if you’ve got a van, a bit of time, and fancy being part of something really special, we’d love to hear from you!
