We receive less than 20% of our funding from the Government, and must raise more than 80% every single year to keep our service running.
Last winter, we were proud to support 126 patients to die in their preferred place of death: at home, in over 20 post code areas spanning the High Peak, Derbyshire Dales, North East Derbyshire and surrounding communities. We also supported 75 patients with regular respite visits, so that loved ones could take an essential break from the sheer exhaustion of caring for their family member, to rest, sleep or undertake important tasks like collecting medication.
