Ways to fundraise for Blythe House Hospice
We must raise over £5,479 every single day to continue providing free care and services to local families, which is why we’re so grateful to everyone who supports us!
We hear the term ‘donate’ and people always think donating money, and we understand that this is not always something people can support us with.
Did you know there are a range of ways you can support the hospice, which help us to raise vital funds so we can continue providing high-quality care across North Derbyshire?
Do you enjoy knitting? – We sell knitting goodies, at Christmas, Easter and throughout the year to help raise funds for the hospice.
By donating unwanted gift sets, chocolates, or any other good quality tombola prizes, you are helping the hospice to raise vital funds.
Donations of bottles of booze are great for our bottle tombola’s at our events throughout the year.
Volunteering at any of our events throughout the year, or by supporting our fundraising team through administrative activities can help us raise much-needed funds.
Remember, if you’re a UK tax payer, your donations could be worth 25% more to Blythe House.
We are clear and upfront in all our communications so you understand who is contacting you and what the purpose of the contact is.
We will respect your communication preferences and have made the process of opting out of future communications straight forward and simple to complete. We are responsive in replying to requests for support for any communications or fundraising related queries.
We abide by the Data Protection Act to protect your personal information. We will never sell your data to a third party.
We are members of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and registered with the Fundraising Regulator. We adhere to all industry guidance and best practice, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, and ask others acting on our behalf to do the same. If standards are not being met we will act quickly to rectify this.
We monitor and evaluate the activities of our suppliers and external partners to ensure that their ethics and actions match those of the charity.
We are transparent about how supporters money is spent and share details and updates on our work and services to demonstrate the impact that fundraising has and how the services you help fund contribute to the lives of local people effected by life-limiting illness.
Thank you for enabling Blythe House Hospice to fulfil our mission to support, look after and care for every person that needs us.
