Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust is excited to announce the launch of its brand new Business Club, bringing together local businesses as one, to focus on supporting end of life care within the communities their workforce and customers live in.
Becca Gregory, fundraising manager at the hospice, says: ‘The Business Club will enable us to build relationships with businesses of all sizes, all working towards one shared goal; raising vital funds to continue providing the highest levels of care and support for people in the High Peak, Derbyshire Dales and North Derbyshire affected by life-limiting illnesses.’
Over 20 local businesses have already joined the club and are supporting the local hospice in a number of ways, such as giving their employees the option of attending the hospice’s networking and fundraising events to promote team-building and increase moral; promoting Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust services to their customers, suppliers, and employees; sponsoring one of the hospices events or appeals to heighten the awareness of their own brand in the local area; and donating products or services to keep the outgoing costs for the charity as low as possible.
Becca explains: ‘By joining the Business Club you will be providing care and support for your workforce; giving them access to information and support sessions around life-limiting illnesses and bereavement, and improving moral by showcasing that your business takes corporate social responsibility to heart.’
